The State Treaty and the Model Legal Regulation stipulate that applications for program and system accreditation must be submitted to the Accreditation Council. Prior to this, an assessment must be carried out by an approved agency. The resulting accreditation report, consisting of a formal assessment report and expert opinion, must be submitted with the application.
